“Kōkua,” means, “to lend assistance,” in Hawaiian

“ʻaina,” means, “land,” in Hawaiian

In 2026 Island Fest presents a one of a kind club-bonding, cultural immersion experience with Ho’okua’āina.

With over 130 acres of land Ho’okua’aina is one of the premiere examples of Native Hawaiian agriculture in the world. Guests will meet local agriculture experts, be educated on Hawaiian planting practices, and have a chance to ‘get hands-on’ with a project helping one of Hawai’i’s crown jewels of native agriculture. This project will represent a lasting transformation of ancient native cultivation fields back into usable, sustainable, food producing land.

The day will finish with teams treated to a catered lunch on the property.

All proceeds will be donated to the Ho’okua’āina project.

LEAVE THE ISLAND BETTER

THAN WHEN YOU

FOUND IT

Island fest teamed up with Genki Ala Wai Project to help clean the Ala Wai at Island Fest 2025.

Over 1,700 genki balls were made at island fest 2025.

The bio-dynamic, 100% ORGANIC balls clean HUNDREDS of gallons of water per ball. Through this effort Genki Hawai’i has begun to reclaim the waters of the Ala Wai. Today, native fish species are returning and the toxicity of the water is declining.
